Ko Olina Real Estate
Oahu, Hawaii
News Flash - September 18th, 2009
The sale on Saturday and Sunday is scheduled a go as of Friday night. The property developer of the Beach Villas at Ko Olina will liquidate, sell at deep discount, clearance out, fire sale, what ever you wish to call it, all remaining villas at the Ko Olina Beach Resort at this final sales event.
Each Villa will also include a full furniture and accessories package along with one year of homeowners association dues paid by the developer. At last count, discounts will be 35% to 47% off of the last already discounted prices.
These discounts are significant, the minimum original price point was around $1,800,000.00 at the start of sales. Now the starting price point will be around $600,000.00 or so. Units that have previously sold for $2,000,000.00 with really amazing views will be had for much less.
The only question is going to be, will there be any villas left when it becomes your turn to pick.
Make your best and most strategic selection
When considering a purchase here, you’ll want to select right, pay the right amount and know all of the pro’s and con’s of home ownership at the Beach Villas before buying your dream home.
Make an informed decision:
You need an unbiased and objective third party opinion that isn’t coming from the developers sales staff. (While the sales staff are very nice to work with, their #1 job is to sell units.)
You also need someone who is: On the inside as homeowner who knows how it really is, also someone who understands the local real estate market and also someone who has a successful track record of renting the Beach Villas at Ko Olina to guests with solid historical data.
I am a homeowner here at the Beach Villas and own multiple units. I am also a licensed real estate agent in the State of Hawaii and I manage our rental properties here at the Ko Olina Beach Resort. So I have all of the bases covered, homeownership, experience with real estate at the Beach Villas and rental cash flows.
The Process:
Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first serve priority basis. If you call today, you could get on the list to be called on Sunday, September 20th if there is anything left to purchase. In Hawaii, you have a 30 day recision period so there is a possible second opportunity to purchase in 30 days if someone changes their mind.
When it becomes your turn, you will receive a phone call from the sales office letting you know what is available. If you like a villa, you may select it or otherwise pass.
